MASSAGE THERAPY

Swedish Massage:

A gentle and firm pressure will reduce muscle tension and put your mind at ease. Your therapist uses a passive and effective technique to decrease muscle aches, and increase your circulation and at the same time taking you into a deep relaxation state leaving stress out and completely rejuvenating you to continue taking on everyday tasks.

Deep Tissue Massage:

Deep tissue is recommended for those who need a stronger and firmer pressure. In this session your therapist will target stressed muscles relieving tension by breaking down adhesion, and reducing pain achieving almost immediate results. If you have chronic pain, are physically active, or have suffered a physical injury, continuous treatment will facilitate and restore normal movement and slowly bringing your body back to a healthier and neutral state.

Sports Massage:

This treatment is designed for people whose strenuous activities require a specific assessment and a more active therapy that will effectively treat particular aches and pains. Your therapist will blend deep tissue qualities along with Swedish techniques, trigger point, and stretching focusing on muscles relevant to a particular sport. Most of the session will generally focus on a specific problem (for instance, neck, shoulders, back, or legs). This modality is not only designed for the care and preparation of an athletes’ performance. It was originally developed for muscle maintenance during training, and muscle recovery after an important event. Sports massage is favorable for the average person who is exposed to everyday activities –intensive or non intensive. It emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons; meaning it is also beneficial for people with chronic pain and restricted range of motion.
